CAPS LOVES WORK STUDY!

What is work study? Do I need it? How do I apply?

  • For employment at CAPS:
    • Tutors/SI Leaders and Student Managers MUST APPLY for work study every year. Being awarded work study is preferred for these positions, but NOT required.
    • Receptionists MUST APPLY FOR AND BE AWARDED work study every year.
  • To apply for work study, students must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the current academic year.
    • When asked "Are you interested in work study?," make sure you answer "Yes".
  • Visit the UNM Student Employment Office (Forms and Info) for more information.
