Position Summary
- Providing technical support to CAPS staff, including software and hardware troubleshooting, software updates and guiding staff on computer related issues.
- Primarily responsible for providing technical and/or software support at CAPS satellite locations.
- Responsible for setting up new computers and installing and upgrading software.
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team member with others providing technical services at CAPS.
Qualifications
- Must be available for pre-semester training (week before classes start) and regularly scheduled meetings Fridays from 3-5pm
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware
- Highly responsible and motivated
- Good troubleshooting and problem tracking skills
- Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Experience working in a busy environment with staff members, students, and the general public
- Work-study is preferred but not required
Preferred Skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
- Work-study qualified.
