Position Summary
Responsible for data entry and retrieval; verifies that data is entered and accurate; resolves problems and inconsistencies with data; releases information to parties in compliance with established confidentiality procedures; prints and checks various reports for errors; performs general office duties as assigned by staff members, including word processing and filing; participates in pre-semester training (week before classes start) and regularly scheduled meetings Fridays 2-3pm; performs other duties as assigned by CAPS staff.
Qualifications
- Data entry skills
- Organizational and record maintenance skills
- Must be detail oriented, ability to follow specific instructions and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience working with students, staff members, and general public
- High level of experience working with computers
- Good academic standing
- Must be work-study qualified
Preferred Skills
- Word-processing experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for data entry and data retrieval.

- Prints and checks reports for errors.
- Performs general office duties including word processing.
- Participates in pre-semester training and scheduled meetings.
- Performs other CAPS related duties as assigned.

- Take a copy of the Job Request with you to the interview.
- Return signed workstudy referral to the student employment office with proper I9 documentation.
