CAPS Announcements & News
Mondays, 12:30p to 3:30pm in Ortega Hall 124 (The Hub, Language Learning Center)
The Portuguese Writing Drop-Lab gives students a place to work on their compositions, as well as reading, for Portuguese classes. In the various Writing Drop-in Labs, you can work on writing in Spanish, Navajo, or Portuguese. The labs are designed to help students who are working on acquiring writing skills in these languages. A completed draft is not necessary! The Drop-in Labs are a place to write: bring everything that you need to work on your writing assignments in the lab; a tutor who is a skilled writer in the target language will be close by to provide assistance.
CAPS online Services will also be unavailable until Monday October 19th. If you require academic assistance during this time, please check out Smarthinking™, a Washington, D.C. based organization that provides online tutoring and academic support for university students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in various common courses.
