When Jordy is not working at CAPS he works at the Albuquerque Biological Park either in the Education Department at the zoo or at the Silvery Minnow Rearing and Breeding Facility, or "Refugium." Jordy has been volunteering at the zoo for almost 5 years, and his duties consist of researching and providing educational materials about various animals to the public. He has been fortunate enough to play with chimps, pet a koala, baby-sit a kangaroo, help train a serval, feed an elephant, and watch a giraffe give birth.
