Accessing Your Stats on the TI-83
- The computed statistics will be stored in the "VARS Statistics" screen. Press CLEAR to get back to the home screen.
- Press VARS, then 5 for the statistics and press the number of the statistic of interest (e.g., for "Sx", press 3). This will load the value of "Sx" to the home screen so that you can do a computation with it. For example, you may want to compute the values that lie one standard deviation above and below the mean: x + Sx and x - Sx.
- To compute the sample variance across "Sx", press the x2 key.
