Welcome! The Writing Center @ CAPS offers a variety of services geared towards providing writing-oriented support for students at UNM- these include 1-on-1 tutoring at each of our two locations, a series of writing-based workshops that are run throughout the semester, Supplemental Instruction for selected sections of English 101 and 102, and a number of online services.
CAPS writing tutors can help out at any stage of the writing process, and our goal is to help students to master tools and techniques that will help them in their writing careers both at the university and beyond. We also offer tutoring for ESL students, and content-based tutoring for courses in the English Department.
